major CFS research revelations that
will be introduced to the general public nationally
for the first time at this conference!
As we reported last
month, Lynne Matallana, National
Fibromyalgia Association President, has
agreed to make a presentation at our Patient
Conference. Lynne is the FMA Founder, Fibromyalgia
Aware Magazine Publisher, on the FDA Center for Drug
Evaluation Research Arthritis Advisory Committee,
member of National Institute of Arthritis &
Musculoskeletal & Skin Diseases Coalition, featured
on Newsweek, Dateline NBC, in numerous national
media, on television and radio broadcasts, and is
the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide:
Fibromyalgia. You can read more about this
inspiring woman who was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia
in 1995 by going to:

ENCOURAGE YOUR FAMILY,
FRIENDS AND ANYONE YOU KNOW WITH CFS/FM TO ATTEND
THE PATIENT CONFERENCE!!!!
You can forward this
email to as many people as you can think of, and ask
them to forward it to their friends or family
members with CFS/FM. According to the Center for
Disease Control, 85% of those with CFS/FM have not
yet been diagnosed! Based on the CDC national
figures there are thousands in Utah who have CFS/FM
with little knowledge of the help and information
that is available to them. This is your chance to
help inform our Utah community about these
debilitating, life-changing illnesses.
ENCOURAGE YOUR DOCTOR
TO ATTEND THE PROVIDER CONFERENCE!!!!
Are you a patient
looking for a physician knowledgeable about
diagnosing and treating CFS and FMS? Have you been
on waiting lists for those precious few physicians
who are well qualified to treat your illness? If
so, you can help OFFER help you! We need your help
to add to the pool of physicians who understand and
treat these illnesses. This is the exact purpose of
our Provider Conference:
Advances in Understanding and Treating Chronic
Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia Syndrome on May 4
and 5, 2007. All physicians are required
to earn continuing education credits to maintain
their license. Our conference is a great way for
your physician to earn these credits. If you can
send OFFER an email with your physician's name and
address, we will send your physician a registration
brochure that will explain the groundbreaking scope
of this, our most important conference ever. Why is
it so important? New fundamental insights into
these illnesses and the latest diagnostic and
treatment protocols will be presented. If you are
able to help us help you, please click on
offerregistration@yahoo.com and help us to send
the provider brochure to your healthcare provider
and/or any healthcare provider you would like to
attend. The conference is only one month

Helping Others
Helps You
Vijai P.
Sharma, Ph.D
Helping others is good for
your health. It is healthy to forget yourself
on a regular basis and concentrate on helping
others. Volunteer to care for someone, but
limit it to the extent that you can handle
without taxing yourself. A study which involved
2,700 residents in Tecumseh, Michigan, observed
that residents who volunteer their time for
community organizations were two and a half
times less likely to die from any diseases
compared to those who did not volunteer.
