"Learn to enjoy
every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for
something outside of yourself to make you happy in the
future. Think how really precious is the time you have to
spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every
minute should be enjoyed and savored."

OFFERUTAH.ORG Support Board!
The Support Board on the website has been removed
until we can find a volunteer willing to help manage
it. There seems to be an interest in the OFFER
community to have the Support Board, but there
are frequent software updates and someone must monitor
the discussions for objectionable comments and watch
out for the spam. It wouldn't require more than
a couple of hours a week to keep the software
up-to-date and manage the board. The software is not
difficult to understand, it simply requires a
commitment to keep things running smoothly.

Individuals who have had severe,
unexplained fatigue for at least six months and who have
no serious abnormalities on medical tests are wanted for a
study of chronic fatigue. Patients who qualify for the
study will be asked to complete three questionnaires over
a six month period. Participating in the study will not
alter the treatment that your physician gives you. The
purpose of the study is to evaluate whether patients
treated by certain types of physicians improve faster than
patients treated by other types of physicians.
If you may be interested in
participating in this study, please contact the study
coordinator, Kathleen O’Connor at (801) 587-4741. For more

As an extension of the youth panel, a
video has been created by Scott Stevens and Peggy Allen, featuring
Lauren Allen, Jessica Turner, Jenny Wilson - young women with CFS.
The purpose is to describe problems they have experienced as CFS
students dealing with their schools. A 10-minute version was edited
from the 43 minute complete film which was presented at the May
meeting of the CFS Advisory Board in Washington D.C. We will preserve
the longer version as well as the 10-minute presentation.
