Hour-long radio program on CFS
 
On February 1, WFAE-FM (90.7) dedicated its hour-long "Charlotte Talks" program to CFS. Guests Dr. Charles Lapp, Dr. Laura Black and Kim McCleary talked with host Mike Collins about the push for recognition of CFS and its diagnosis, treatment and impact. NBC Nightly News airs CFS segment

On November 2, 2006, NBC Nightly News aired a segment about chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) on its evening broadcast. The segment featured CFS patient and CFIDS Association Board member Jennifer Spotila and Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The story, "Chronic fatigue is a real illness, gov't says: the long-controversial diagnosis finally gets recognized" is available on NBC's web site at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15535705/.
