Licensed Psychologist
Stuart Drescher, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with a private
practice in Salt Lake
City. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton
College and his Master's
and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Utah.
His practice includes individual and group psychotherapy in the
areas of behavioral
medicine and personal growth. Additionally, he works as an
organizational consultation
with businesses and non-profit organizations. Dr. Drescher
also provides wilderness
therapy for individuals and small groups on a limited basis.
Over the last several years, he has specialized in working with
people with chronic and
serious illnesses including cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue
syndrome, multiple
sclerosis, lupus, arthritis, and other similar conditions.
Since 1996, Dr. Drescher has
served as the clinical supervisor at the Cancer Wellness House.
He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of OFFER.
Dr. Drescher
regularly lectures and teaches in the areas of behavioral
medicine, personal growth,
and self-actualization."
